Wife 'n I were recently caching in Columbus and found a GPSr at GZ of one of the caches! We'd like to get it back to it's rightful owner, so if anyone here lost it...Or knows who did?

By all means have them contact us (MrJL at gc.com) or via the forum here with pertinent info. What cache it may have been lost at, what make/model, some of the points loaded on it, etc. Just to help us identify it as yours. Smile

Thanks!

Most Garmins you can set the owner information to appear when the GPS is first turned on. So if something like this happened the person could easily return it f they were inclined to do the right thing.

Also if this is a Garmin you might call them and let them know you found a lost GPS. They might be able to find the owner by the serial no. if it was registered.

No luck on an "address screen", and the manufacturer has not had this serial number registered.

I lost a yellow Magellan Explorist about that time. Most waypoints would be on the west side and grove city. Hope you found mine.
